Hey Xixarro,
I do appreciate the suggestion! I put everything (ie. all the text) right on this blog because I meant it to be as comprehensive as possible for anyone who comes across it; I meant to do all the legwork for you guys. It is nice to hear though that you’d rather read my words than the book advertisers’! :P I was thinking about doing book reviews at one point in addition to the list, so I might come out with some of those soon. :D

I just think it would have been better if you had just placed a link on the (title of the) books to Amazon. Right now it’s a very lengthy article, but only a very small percentage is your own text. I had to scroll through a lot of text I wasn’t interested in reading.

If your only goal was to point out how many capoeira books are out there you could just have opened Amazon and browse for capoeira in books. The result of that search would have given us even more books. AND given you more room to point out your favourites or other comments I would like to read instead.

I hope you appreciate my opinion.

I’m not affiliated with Amazon or any of the other places I linked to, that was purely because they offered more information. I just thought this would be a useful list for people who are looking for capoeira books to read, not article, because it gathered in one place all the (non-practical) capoeira books that are out right now! If you already know of all these books or have read them all, then that’s fine and you can totally ignore this post. I’m sorry if I disappointed you with it, but I really didn’t mean it to be anything more than a simple reference list!
